Monitoring Activities

We monitor legislative and administrative developments on issues affecting nonprofit organizations, including tax, lobbying and political activity, reporting requirements, employee benefits, copyright and Internet regulation, and nonprofit postal issues, and prepare briefing papers, public comments, and testimony for clients.

The firm is currently engaged in a project to monitor the implementation of the Bipartisan Campaign Reform Act of 2002 (BCRA) through rulemaking by the Federal Election Commission (FEC), as well as the litigation challenging the BCRA.
