Elliott C. Lichtman
ELLIOTT C. LICHTMAN specializes in immigration and nationality law. He received his Bachelors degree from Yale University in 1961 and his law degree from Harvard University in 1964. During the course of his career, Mr. Lichtman has appeared before numerous administrative, federal, and state tribunals, including the U.S. Supreme Court. An active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association for over 20 years, Mr. Lichtman has chaired or participated in many committees of that organization. He frequently writes and lectures to attorneys at local and national conferences on topics related to both employment-based and family-based immigration law. For 10 years, Mr. Lichtman co-taught the District of Columbia Bars six-week course on immigration law, and he is a former adjunct professor of the Georgetown University Law Center. Most recently, he has first-authored a book chapter on visa requirements for foreign investors and business personnel in West Groups 2004 Manual of Foreign Investment in the United States.
